Você não pede pra IA. Você direciona. You don't ask AI. You direct it.

Você já usa inteligência artificial e tira coisa boa dela. Só que às vezes vem mais ou menos, e você sente que dá pra tirar muito mais. Sente certo.

You already use artificial intelligence and pull good stuff from it. But sometimes it comes out so-so, and you feel there is a lot more in there. You feel right.

O que separa o resultado mais ou menos do resultado bom de verdade não é a ferramenta. É uma coisa só, e ela cabe numa frase.

What separates the so-so result from the genuinely good one is not the tool. It is one thing, and it fits in one sentence.

Você não pede pra IA. Você direciona. Pedir é jogar a tarefa e esperar o que vier. Direcionar é dizer o como: o que você quer, do seu jeito, com os detalhes que importam.

You don't ask AI. You direct it. Asking is tossing the task and waiting for whatever comes. Directing is saying the how: what you want, your way, with the details that matter.

Quem pede recebe o que a máquina escolher. Quem direciona é o dono do resultado.

Whoever asks gets whatever the machine picks. Whoever directs owns the result.

Quando vem ruim, a primeira reação é culpar a ferramenta: a IA é fraca, o modelo não presta, isso não serve pro meu negócio.

When it comes out bad, the first reaction is to blame the tool: the AI is weak, the model is no good, this doesn't work for my business.

Numa pesquisa que fiz com mais de 50 clientes, isso apareceu direto: "explico exatamente o que quero e sai completamente diferente". Só que o limite quase nunca é a IA. É o tanto de direção que sai de você.

In a survey I ran with over 50 customers, this came up plain as day: "I explain exactly what I want and it comes out completely different". But the limit is almost never the AI. It is how much direction comes from you.

No fundo, a IA é um programa. E todo programa funciona igual. Underneath, AI is a program. And every program works the same way.

Todo programa faz três coisas: recebe uma coisa, processa, devolve outra. Entra, processa, sai.

Every program does three things: it takes something in, processes it, gives something back. In, process, out.

A IA é isso. Você escreve um pedido, ela processa, e te devolve a foto, o texto, a resposta. O pedido é a entrada. O que volta é a saída.

AI is that. You write a request, it processes, and it gives you back the photo, the text, the answer. The request is the input. What comes back is the output.

Eu não tô teorizando. Eu construí meu negócio nisso. I'm not theorizing. I built my business on this.

Eu faço foto de comida com inteligência artificial todo dia, e montei meu sistema inteiro nessa ideia. Separo em duas partes: a Mente e a Impressora.

I make food photos with artificial intelligence every day, and I built my whole system on this idea. I split it in two: the Mind and the Printer.

A Mente pensa e escreve o pedido certo. A Impressora só executa e cospe a imagem.

The Mind thinks and writes the right request. The Printer just runs it and spits out the image.

Quando a foto sai ruim, eu nem olho pra Impressora. O problema tá quase sempre na Mente, no que eu mandei.

When a photo comes out bad, I don't even look at the Printer. The problem is almost always in the Mind, in what I sent.

Pra provar pra mim mesmo, eu testei. Gerei a mesma foto de dois jeitos: um jogando o pedido direto, sem capricho, e outro pelo meu processo, com tudo direcionado.

To prove it to myself, I tested it. I generated the same photo two ways: one tossing the request straight in, no care, and the other through my process, fully directed.

A diferença foi gritante. Foi aí que eu falei: o prompt faz toda diferença. Prompt é só o nome do pedido que você escreve pra IA.

The difference was night and day. That's when I said: the prompt makes all the difference. A prompt is just the name for the request you write to the AI.

"Melhora essa foto" não existe. Existe a foto que você descreveu. "Make this photo better" doesn't exist. The photo you described does.

Quando eu pedia "melhora essa foto", voltava uma porcaria. O hambúrguer parecia de plástico, o queijo virava borracha, e nunca saía duas iguais.

When I used to ask "make this photo better", back came junk. The burger looked like plastic, the cheese turned to rubber, and no two ever came out the same.

Era genérico, sem alma. Me frustrava pra caralho.

Generic, no soul. It frustrated the hell out of me.

Aí parei de pedir "melhora". Comecei a direcionar: o tipo de luz, o ângulo, qual detalhe do produto mostrar, o que tem em volta, o clima da cena.

So I stopped asking for "better". I started directing: the kind of light, the angle, which detail of the product to show, what's around it, the mood of the scene.

Dou muito mais do COMO eu quero. E a saída vem do meu jeito, com cara de comida de verdade, e dá pra repetir quando eu quiser.

I give a lot more of the HOW I want. And the output comes out my way, looking like real food, and I can repeat it whenever I want.

E direcionar desce ao detalhe. Uma vez eu tava fazendo a foto de um pudim e o rótulo saiu escrito "POCE DE LEITA" no lugar de "DOCE DE LEITE".

And directing goes down to the detail. Once I was making a photo of a pudding and the label came out reading "POCE DE LEITA" instead of "DOCE DE LEITE".

Por quê? Porque eu não disse pra IA a palavra exata que tinha que aparecer. Ela não adivinha o que tá na sua cabeça. Ela faz o que você manda, letra por letra.

Why? Because I didn't tell the AI the exact word that had to show up. It doesn't guess what's in your head. It does what you tell it, letter by letter.

É a mesma diferença entre gritar uma ordem e treinar alguém. It's the same difference between barking an order and training someone.

Pensa num funcionário que faz de tudo. Se você grita "faz uma foto", vem qualquer coisa. Se você mostra a luz, o ângulo, o capricho que você quer, ele acerta.

Picture an employee who does a bit of everything. If you bark "make a photo", anything comes. If you show the light, the angle, the care you want, they nail it.

Com a IA é igual. E vale pra tudo, não só foto: um texto, uma resposta pro cliente, um post. Pediu vago, veio vago. Direcionou, veio certo.

With AI it's the same. And it goes for everything, not just photos: a text, a reply to a customer, a post. Asked vague, came vague. Directed, came right.
